This video workshop will lead you through an exploration into the empowering world of experimental art.

Experimental drawing is a style of artmaking that defies convention. Experimental artwork is said to take unfamiliarity as the dominant force or main focus. Learning the style of experimental drawing will grant you freedom and spontaneity in your work.

In this video workshop, you will participate in a mindfulness practice to help you connect and allow your mind to rest. This will help you to accept your emotional and physical sensations and focus on the present.

While working at your own pace, you will learn mark-making techniques, how to incorporate different tools, and experimental techniques. After working through a series of experimental prompts, you will use a selection of the techniques covered to create a finished piece.

Working independently, you will strengthen skills in confidence and creative intuition, while finding ways to express your subconscious as you compose the visual space.
