What we know is that there is a direct connection between stress and our ability to ---.. Extreme stress makes it difficult for us to think clearly and respond kindly because brain regions that regulate the stress response also allow for empathy and connection. When we practice Yoga, we are naturally relieving stress and opening space to really feel and embody what it means to be empathetic, not just with ourselves but with others. Through the art of Yoga and slowing down the mind, we connect back to the true essence of who we are - connecting mind, body, and soul. We tap into an inner knowing that brings us to a space of hope for ourselves.
